JSE Stocks — Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
This policy explains what JSE Stocks collects and why. We keep it minimal: the app needs only
enough to sync your watchlist, portfolio, and alerts across your devices.
What we store
- Account identifier — an anonymous, Apple, or Google account id from Firebase
Authentication. If you sign in, we may store your email and display name from that provider.
- Your watchlist — the stocks you choose to follow.
- Your portfolio entries — the transactions (buys/sells) you record. These are
your own bookkeeping; we do not connect to any brokerage.
- Your price alerts — the alert thresholds you set.
- A device notification token — so we can send the alerts and summaries you turn on.
- Basic app info — app version and platform, to support the app.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not connect to your bank or brokerage.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites for advertising.
Services we use
Firebase (authentication, cloud messaging, analytics, crash reporting) and RevenueCat
(subscription management). These providers process data on our behalf to run the app.
Your choices
You can turn notifications on or off, and you can delete your account at any time from
Settings → Account → Delete Account. Deleting removes your watchlist, portfolio entries, alerts,
and account record.
